The Lebone Leadership Festival is a gathering for outstanding young people. It is a place to meet, to listen, to reflect, to engage, and to be challenged.

Lebone II College is proud to host the 8th annual Lebone Leadership Festival for senior high school learners from 30 June to 5 July 2019. This exciting Festival will host 150 learners from Lebone II College and surrounding schools of the region, as well as learners from leading and diverse South African and international schools, for a week-long programme of powerful learning and engagement related to the 2019 Festival theme 'LEADING FROM WITHIN'.

The aim of the Lebone Leadership Festival is to assist students to bring their own ideas about leadership into focus, to challenge those ideas, and to stretch them. It will challenge students to think about collaborative leadership, and encourage them to take inspiration from role models from all walks of life. It will require them to examine their own leadership behaviours and to put this learning into practice.

Throughout the week students will be able to listen to high profile keynote speakers, listen to panel discussions and participate in interesting debates that will challenge their thinking and stimulate action. Above all, the Lebone Leadership Festival celebrates leadership which is in service of others.
